The first task we were given was type personality task. We were required to select a typeface of our choosing and edit it to make it reflect our personality. I had done two versions of this.
This first one I created I had used the typeface signo. I had chosen this typeface because I liked the look of the 'K' and I knew I would be able to manipulate it how I wanted. I really enjoy running so I wanted to try to show that, so I used the letter 'K' because I think it slightly resembles someone walking or running. Then I added a shoe on the bottom of the K to make it look like the K was made from a leg. Then I had started experimenting with other designs, such as using an arm on the top half too create more movement, and then tried some different placement for the shoes to create several designs.

Following on from this I wanted to create something similar but using 2 of my favourite typefaces. So here I ruined 2 perfectly good looking typefaces. I had done some experimenting and decided I wanted to put serifs onto Helvetica, and I wanted to remove the serifs from Garamond to turn it into a sans-serif font.
